Merranti Breakfast Club Overview | 13th September 2017
The Merranti Breakfast Club on 13th September aimed to bring local people and businesses together for a free casual networking morning.
Our event was hosted on the 13th September at the Merranti Pavilion in Edenbridge and included David Farmer from Lime Consultancy, and Martin Bannister from Kogo, presenting information about how to correctly protect your business.
Lime Consultancy is a Commercial Finance Broker, that has been authorised by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). They wanted to do things differently as they realised the financial world had to change and can help with; Business Finance, Commercial Lending, Property Finance and Commercial Mortgages.
David’s presentation was about financial protection for your business, and tips to protect cash flow. It was an extremely informative talk that covered about what lenders look for when you apply for loans and how it is easier to apply for finance when you don’t need it.
Kogo is a leading provider of managed IT Infrastructure systems that service a wide range of SME & corporate companies. They provide services in disaster recovery, cyber security, security risk management and web design.
Martin talked about the mind of a cyber criminal and the risks of them trying to attack your business; about how they work out passwords and gain access to your systems and servers. He also covered the diverse types of cyber-attacks, how to spot them, and how to avoid them.
Our next Merranti Breakfast Club event will be in the first week of September.
