I attended the second Merranti Breakfast event, another excellent event, some great knowledge shared by David from Lime Consultancy – Business Finance and from Martin from Kogo Limited as usual Jason Fudge was our host and there was a Great Network of people in the room. This is a Must-Do event!
The Merranti Breakfast Club has a great mix of businesses, the format works well and it’s at a sociable time of the morning. Starting with informal networking over bacon rolls, before a couple of useful and interesting talks. Then back to the networking. As someone who attends a lot of networking events, as well as running my own, I was impressed with what Merranti have achieved already.
Proper grown-up networking with people who want to help each other. No joining, no sales pitch, just decent conversations with good people. More events should be like this’
It’s always a pleasure to attend a ‘Merranti Morning’. The guest speakers are always relevant to any business, informative and light-hearted. You get to meet a great mix of people, (and the bacon baps are pretty good too!)
This was our 1st networking meeting being a new start-up business and found that the format and structure of the day were perfect for us as it allowed us the time to both network and share experiences while being supplied with endless Tea, Coffee and a Bacon roll.
May’s Merranti Breakfast Club event was all about Marketing your Business. We had a great talk by Roxanne Tanner from Dotsquares who spoke about utilising social media.
Our event in March was all about the topic of People at Work. This was broken down by our three speakers; Clair Reilly, Eve Clennell and Fiona Monson.
January’s event was all about Kickstarting your year. This was broken down into three separate talks; Networking, Video Production and Personal Planning.
November’s event was an Introduction to Google AdWords and a GDPR seminar, that aimed to provide key information in how to move forward in promoting your business on the world’s largest search engine
Our event was hosted on the 13th September at the Merranti Pavilion in Edenbridge and included David Farmer from Lime Consultancy, and Martin Bannister from Kogo.
Our first event had talks by Christine Lyle, from NatWest and by Jamie Finn from QuickBooks. This event was finance based and looked to give insights on how to raise funding and manage your finances.
