Our second Merranti Breakfast Club event on Wednesday 13th September will be held at the Merranti Pavilion, and we will be partnering with Kogo. This FREE event will be kept to the similar informal style, with a light breakfast of bacon sandwiches, pastries along with teas and coffees.

Kogo is a leading provider of managed IT Infrastructure systems that service a wide range of SME & corporate companies. They provide services in disaster recovery, cyber security, security risk management and web design.
Robert Banner, from Kogo, attended our first event, and put us in contact with his Managing Director, Martin Bannister. Martin was excited by the prospect of partnering with us at a future breakfast club, and we are delighted with him joining us for our second event and look forward to collaborating again in the future.
Martin will be talking about how the mind of a cyber criminal works when trying to attack your business; about how they work out passwords and gain access to your systems and servers. This will help you when creating online accounts by teaching you how to protect yourself when online. He will also go through the diverse types of cyber-attacks, how to spot them, and how to avoid them.
Ever since the high profile WannaCry ransomware attack that seriously impacted the NHS and hundreds of other companies around the globe, cyber security has been at the forefront of a lot of businesses’ minds. Companies all over the country are looking at their own systems to make sure they are protected, to prevent themselves becoming a victim of a similar attack.
